The Murata Philosophy provides a good guide for our work on power product development and business growth. It states that “we contribute to the advancement of society by: enhancing technologies and skills; creating innovative products and solutions; being trustworthy.”
High efficiency, high power density power supplies are universally desired, especially for data and telecommunication applications. We research and implement advanced technologies and continuously align ourselves with the latest industry trends. For example, we have developed a number of patents in digital control, the LLC resonant converter and transformer design – which helps achieve superior performance in our products.
We always look for differentiators which distinguish us from our competitors. For example, we developed the D1U54 product family, with excellent efficiency performance in the smallest standard package (54mm) while meeting all of our customer’s requirements. The slim package of these power supplies gives more space in the system chassis to allow our customers to add more features for better system performance and market competitiveness. We have developed the broadest product portfolio in this form factor, and it has been the most successful product family we have launched to date.
By offering best–in–class services and the best products to our customers, we gain their trust and build strong relationships with them. The majority of our customers are located in North America. Having our design center in Canada allows day–to–day direct communication without language barriers or delays in responses due to time zone differences. This is highly valued by our customers.
Our products are widely used in network switch, router and server systems for data and telecommunication applications. They contribute to the advancement of society by helping people connect to, access and share information, participate in the digital economy, etc. The high efficiency of our products also saves energy, contributing to the protection of our environment. |
