Establishment of the Tokyo Logistics Center “Establishment of the Logistics Center” was one of the four pillars of the SCM renovation and served as the foundation for the other pillars. The purpose of the Logistics Center is to reduce costs by introducing rationalization, to fluctuate logistics costs, and to expand direct delivery and cross–dock. The Logistics Center is characterized by the integration of three functions: factory shipment function, export HUB function, and sales warehouse function. JP-56_QR.png ダウンロード
Place The Tokyo Logistics Center is located in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture. This area is home to numerous logistics warehouses, and well–known companies such as Amazon and UNIQLO also utilize these facilities. Nagareyama City has boasted the highest population growth rate in Japan for six consecutive years, making it an environment where securing workers is relatively easy. JP-56_TLC01.jpg ダウンロード
Location Regarding the travel time from the Tokyo Logistics Center to major hubs, it takes 60 minutes by car to Narita International Airport. This location has significantly reduced our shipping lead times. For customers in the Asia–Pacific region, it is now possible to deliver products on the day following shipment. JP-56_TLC02.jpg ダウンロード
Buillding The Tokyo Logistics Center leases the 4th floor of GLP ALFALINK Nagareyama 8, utilizing an area of approximately 18,000 square meters. Since this center is located inland, it is not affected by tsunamis or storm surges. Additionally, the building features a seismic isolation structure and is equipped with an emergency power generator, making it highly resilient to disasters. Even in the event of an earthquake on the scale of the Great East Japan Earthquake, safety can be ensured and product damage due to cargo collapse can be prevented. JP-56_TLC03.jpg ダウンロード
