ACR bucket This container, called the "ACR bucket," is a specially developed container for reel products used by TLC. Its primary purpose is for transportation and storage between the factory and TLC. The unique feature of this bucket is that it can be accessed from both the top and the sides, allowing for picking even when stacked. As a result, there is no need to repack reels between the factory and the logistics center, preventing waste and errors associated with repacking tasks. JP-56_TLC05.JPG ダウンロード
Products inspection using RFID The Logistics Center uses Murata's RFID Magic Strap for storage and shelving. Data reading and linking, which has been performed by reading barcodes one by one, can now be performed accurately and instantly using RFID, and management of products that are transported and stored in large quantities can be performed efficiently and without mistakes. Depalletizer The depalletizer is a robot that unloads each bucket from LC pallets one by one and transports them to the conveyor. If this task were performed manually, it would require 20 people per day at the Tokyo Logistics Center due to its shipping scale. Additionally, each bucket weighs 22 kg, posing a risk of work–related injuries such as back pain. By introducing this equipment, we have achieved labor savings and injury prevention. ACR ACR stands for Autonomous Case–handling Robot, a robot designed to transport individual buckets. Each ACR can carry up to six buckets at a time, and by utilizing storage racks with both height and depth, it achieves high storage efficiency. The system that controls the ACRs, known as RCS, can manage up to 300 ACR units. Additionally, since it allows for picking on a per–bucket basis, it addresses the challenge of requiring a large number of personnel at the Osaka Logistics Center. JP-56_TLC07.JPG ダウンロード
Bucket transportation machine The bucket transportation machine is an internally developed electric karakuri bucket transportation machine. This equipment is installed in the receiving area and the LBL area, allowing for the simultaneous transfer and retrieval of up to six buckets from the ACR. By using the bucket transportation machine, we can reduce transportation congestion for the ACR and minimize bucket storage loss in the LBL area. Internal development has enabled us to achieve a 60% reduction in investment costs compared to equipment manufacturers. JP-56_TLC08.JPG ダウンロード
Factory shipping function The Logistics Center is currently outsourced from 13 factories. The roles in the factory shipping function are inventory storage, picking, labeling, and outer packaging. These work based on factory shipping instructions. There are various types of reels, 4mm, 8mm, 12mm, small reel, big reel, and flat pack, and we are shipping in an appropriate environment or method depending on the type of reel and product. Sales shipping function The sales shipment function was gradually transferred after the factory shipment function was established. The sales shipping function is a function to ship to customers in Japan, and the roles are collective packing and labeling. The Logistics Center also performs out–in work, so products received from overseas factories can be shipped to domestic customers. JP-56_TLC11.png ダウンロード
Export HUB function The role of the export HUB function at the Logistics Center is labeling and customs clearance. The Logistics Center has a bonded section, so it can be shipped overseas without customs clearance at the airport. JP-56_TLC12.png ダウンロード
