事務局記入 | "Tohoku Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.", which became a member of the "Murata Manufacturing" Group in September 2017, was the first company in the world to commercialize lithium–ion batteries and convert silver oxide batteries to mercury–free products. As a core company in Murata's energy business, we are committed to further developing "Battery Business" as we expect the market to expand and demand to grow in the future. In the lithium–ion battery business, we are working together with Murata Energy Device Wuxi Co., Ltd. (Wuxi), which conducts integrated production from the electrode process, and Murata Electronics Singapore (Pte.) Ltd. Tuas Plant (Singapore), which is a mass–production base for cylindrical batteries, to create energy devices that provide a source of inspiration. ESS (stationary power supply) is engaged in the power support business, including the efficient use of electric power by a lithium–ion secondary battery equipped with fORTELION, which is a lithium–ion battery that uses a long–life and safe olivine–type lithium iron phosphate as the cathode electrode, and the prevention of momentary power outage. We are also developing microbatteries for medical and IOT applications, including new medical devices.
