Yasu Division is located in Yasu–city of Shiga Prefecture southside of Lake Biwa, 60 km northeast of the head office. Since its establishment in 1987, it has been supporting Murata’s Monozukuri as a major base for R&D center. We develop not only equipment, materials, and products, but also conduct quality assurance, analysis, and reliability technology development activities in close cooperation with development activities. Robots such as Murata–boy were born from free research by engineers here.
We also manufacture electrode paste materials for various products, including our main multilayer ceramic capacitors, as well as our own production facilities here, and deliver them to each of our Murata sites. There are many support departments at this Division, and it is a base where human resources who create various wisdom and ingenuity are active.
We will continue to support Murata's Monozukuri with creativity and a spirit of challenge that takes advantage of this diversity. |
