It is also the factory that started the in-house production of barium titanate, which is still the main raw material for ceramic capacitors. Since then, the Yokaichi Plant has continued to manufacture raw materials and various ceramic-related products that support Murata's electronic components in accordance with Murata's basic philosophy of "New electronic devices are from new electronic components , new electronic components are from new materials." In addition, we continue to engage in community contribution activities, such as participating in the "Higashiomi Chiisana Tabiichi," so that we can coexist and grow with the community, with the idea that "the presence of Murata there is a source of pride and joy for the region." Lake Biwa is the mother lake where many rivers flow into it, creating a diverse ecosystem that "produces" and "nurtures" new life, and eventually "sends it out" to the ocean.
