Murata Science and Education Foundation | In 1985, in Murata’s 40th year of existence, we established the Murata Science Foundation. By providing assistance to research institutions and young researchers, the Foundation is contributing to cultural development across a wide variety of fields, from electronics to the humanities and social sciences. Electrical Engineering Classroom | With the promotion of science education (STEM education) as our theme, Murata has been supporting experience–based education for elementary and junior high school students. the provision of support for a Disney science show | As part of our STEM education activities, Murata helped to sponsor an event at the Walt Disney World® Resort Epcot® Center. Move, Sensei Robot!! | in 2019 Murata began holding programming classes that foster logical thinking for upper elementary school students under the title “Move, Sensei Robot!!” Management staff call for volunteers from among Murata employees, who then visit classes and encourage children to learn logical thinking enjoyably, by thinking about how to make “Sensei Robots” move using various directive commands. | JP-01_sensei_robot.jpg | ダウンロード |

Murata Forest | Murata has been continuously conducting its forest preservation program “Murata Forest” since FY2007. Donation of masks to China | In 2020, we provided support to China, which was in a critical situation due to the explosive spread of a new coronavirus, for masks that had become difficult to obtain locally. Despite the voluntary appeal, a total of 11,583 donations were received from employees in Japan, which encouraged their friends in China. When Japan was struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake, we received various forms of support from Chinese people.
