Korea Murata Electronics co. ltd. (KME) serves as the regional headquarters and sales base for Murata Manufacturing in Japan. The parent company, Murata Manufacturing, develops and manufactures cutting–edge electronic components and multifunctional, high–density module products using high–performance electronic materials. They also supply these unique technologies to final products around the world, continuously contributing to the development of markets such as communications, home appliances, and automotive.
Established in 1980 as the Seoul branch of Murata Manufacturing Japan, Korea Murata Electronics has consistently grown over more than 40 years by leveraging its technological competitiveness in manufacturing based on the symbol of Japanese manufacturing. They have maintained a quick response capability from a field perspective to rapidly changing market demands and customer needs. As a result, they became a company with over 1 trillion won in sales in 2013 and achieved sales of 1.5 trillion won in 2015. Currently, they aim for sales of 2 trillion won and lead the electronics component industry in Korea.
In addition to external growth, Korea Murata Electronics is also focusing on internal growth by emphasizing "Employee Satisfaction (ES)" as an important value. They are continuously expanding their investment in human resource development and training. In recognition of these efforts, they were awarded as a Best Human Resource Development (HDR) organization by the government in 2019.
