Taiwan Murata, known as MET, was established in 1978, and started off on the production of conventional types of products such as safety capacitor and ceramic filters. As business environment changed drastically in past decades, MET is under a process of business transformation from passive products to semi–conductor products. Conventional type of products were migrated to other regions, and new manufacturing lines for semi–con products are being constructed currently.
Taiwan has long been well–known as a Silicon Island due to her strong presence in semi–conductor industry. To utilize this advantage and turn ourselves into a semi–conductor testing house, MET–TC is not only embracing new challenges in the present and adapting the new business environment, but also seeking to reshape our future with muRata management philosophy and “monozukuri” spirit.
With all these efforts, we dedicated ourselves to play an important role in muRata semi–conductor eco system and contribute to the future growth of muRata business, along with the advance of the society.
Back in December 2018, MET cerebrated our 40th anniversary. We sincerely appreciate all the support and help from people around us along the path of 40 years. We are proud of being part of muRata family, and will strive to develop our business foundation, create values, and build trusts with all customers and stakeholders as always.
